Classwork: Students will get into groups and organize the sentences for the story, “Grandma Moves to Texas,” into a logical sequence.
Homework: None. Reading Log due on Friday.
  • Facilitator places strips on board.
  • Recorder writes the story when finished.
  • Reporter shares with the class.
  • Encourager makes sure all strips and colors are put away in envelopes at the end of class.
  1. A role color is kept on each desk.
  2. Place strips in an order that everyone agrees is correct.
  3. The recorder will copy the sentences in order, indenting between paragraphs.
  4. The reporter will share with the class.
