Classwork: Students will get into groups and organize the sentences for the story, “Grandma Moves to Texas,” into a logical sequence.
Homework: None. Reading Log due on Friday.
- Facilitator places strips on board.
- Recorder writes the story when finished.
- Reporter shares with the class.
- Encourager makes sure all strips and colors are put away in envelopes at the end of class.
- A role color is kept on each desk.
- Place strips in an order that everyone agrees is correct.
- The recorder will copy the sentences in order, indenting between paragraphs.
- The reporter will share with the class.
