Classwork: FCAT Practice – Students will work in their FCAT Practice and Preparation books. These books must not be lost or misplaced. Today we will discuss and practice “Details in a Passage” on Page 4; Main Idea of a Passage on Page 6, “Cause and Effect in a Passage on Page 9 and “Fact vs. Opinion and Strong vs. Weak Arguments on Page 11. Standard classes will read “Disaster at Sea” in Scope Magazine, then answer the supplementary questions on their own papers.
Homework: Reading Logs are due tomorrow.
