Journal Entry #9: Write a friendly letter to Victor letting him know how our 7th grade year is going and giving him advice for having a successful 7th grade year. Include all five parts of a friendly letter from our class notes.
Classwork: Share journal entries; Review homework; Listen to a reading of our story, “Seventh Grade;” Vocabulary words: conviction, portly, sheepishly, elective.
Homework: Finish making a plot diagram on 8 ½ x 11 paper. Label and decorate it. Be creative! The best looking ones will be on display for Open House on September 16th.
